Getting your trees and shrubs into the ground in Spring allows an early start for a potted root system to adjust their new home before the hot weather of Summer. This is also an excellent time to transplant pieces from one area to another. Spring is a great time to see the potential of trees and shrubs before you put them into the ground.
Fall Planting
Many trees and shrubs can be planted successfully in the Autumn months. The weather is cooler and roots will start growing to give the new plantings a faster growing start in the Spring. During the winter months plants are mostly dormant, but do build stability.
